The board meeting begins at 9 a.m. Poore was recently named the superintendent of the Little Rock School District effective July 1, 2016.
The Arkansas Department of Education and Gov. Asa Hutchinson are pleased to announce that Elena Milstead, a student at Scranton High School, and Katherine Doderer, a student at Episcopal Collegiate School, were selected to attend the National Youth Science Camp in West Virginia in July. Nicholas Langston, at student at Subiaco Academy, and Alexandra Perkins, from Camden Fairview High School, were selected as first and second alternates.
