The date, time and location have changed for the April Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation Meeting.
Today, Commissioner Johnny Key reached an agreement with Dr. Dexter Suggs that resulted in Dr. Suggs’ immediate resignation as superintendent of the Little Rock School District. Mr. Marvin Burton will serve as interim superintendent.
Currently employed teachers and those interested in obtaining a teaching license will have the opportunity to network and learn more about educational opportunities at ADE’s upcoming career fair.
The 2015 Educator Career Fair will be held on April 18.
Fitness icon Jake Steinfeld, chairman of the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils, has declared war on childhood obesity. To help combat this disease, he’s bringing the foundation’s multi-million dollar physical fitness campaign to Arkansas and has engaged Governor Asa Hutchinson to partner in this effort.
