The School-Based Health Alliance of Arkansas will host the School Health Spring Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 16 at the UALR Cooperative Extension Service in Little Rock.
Those who implement wellness and prevention strategies in a school setting are encouraged to attend.
Arkansas’ Surgeon General Dr. Joe Thompson will be the keynote speaker. Other topics include school crisis planning and intervention, as well as childhood preventative care and behavioral physical health strategies.
