The Arkansas Department of Education recently updated its Data Center website. Besides a new look, the site is easier to navigate.
The Data Center is a collection of more than 30 data systems, tools and reports for educators, parents, policy makers, and others who need to access official ADE education data. This site is maintained by the ADE Division of Research & Technology, with Arkansas public school districts providing most of the data.
New features include a revamped homepage, an introduction panel that focuses on ADE Information Systems, an educators tab, a support feature, and an updated staff page that emphasizes Educational Information Systems.
The Data Center is visited on average 1,100 times a day and contains more than 2,500 certified data reports from school districts. A few of the most popular systems and tools on the site are the Arkansas Educator Licensure System, Arkansas Ed-Fi StudentGPS Dashboards, Course and Job Code Management Systems, and a Contact Person Address Book.
