April has been designated the Month of the Military Child. Numerous states, communities, and organizations across the nation will be celebrating military children throughout the month. Arkansas is part of the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission (MIC3), a national organization committed to easing transitions for military children.
The newly-established Arkansas Purple Star School Award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces. To learn more about how your school may qualify, please go to Arkansas Purple Star School Award.
