To help strengthen reading education in the state, Arkansas is focused on changing instructional practices in the classroom and incorporating the knowledge and practices of the Science of Reading.  The following resources help provide educators with the opportunity to develop an awareness of the cursory knowledge and practices of scientific reading instruction.

Essentials of Assessing, Preventing, and Overcoming Reading Difficulties, by David A.
