The application and course approval process for digital providers has opened for the 2017-2018 school year. The deadline for new provider applications is January 9, 2017. The deadline for all providers submitting new digital courses for which there is an approved Arkansas framework or corresponding Advanced Placement course is February 13, 2017. Applications or courses received after the deadlines will not be considered. If a digital course is approved for a district, it will be added to the approved digital list for the state. This course list is to meet the provisions of the Digital Learning Act of 2013 so that all public school districts and public charter schools shall provide at least one (1) digital learning course to their students as either a primary or supplementary method of instruction.
