The Response to Intervention (RTI) Fidelity Rubric is for use by schools to support fidelity of RTI implementation. The rubric is aligned with the essential components of RTI and the infrastructure that is necessary for successful implementation. It is accompanied by a worksheet with guiding questions and score points for use with a school’s RTI leadership team.
The RTI Literacy Handbook for Grades K-5 was developed by the Arkansas Department of Education. It is designed to be used by a school team to establish an RTI team, develop a purpose, identify assessment tools, define core instructional practices, use data-based decision-making, develop an action plan, and communicate with guardians around the RTI process.
The PBIS Self-Assessment Survey is used by school staff for initial and annual assessments of effective behavior support systems. The survey examines the status and need for improvement of four behavior support systems: (a) school-wide discipline systems, (b) non-classroom management systems (e.g., cafeteria, hallway, playground), (c) classroom management systems, and (d) systems for individual students engaging in chronic problem behaviors.
The Tiered Fidelity Inventory is a valid and reliable tool to measure the extent to which schools are implementing the core features on Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. The Tiered Fidelity Inventory is divided into Tier I (universal features), II (targeted features) and III (intensive features).
