Charter Amendment Requests

To request a charter amendment, complete the Charter Amendment Request Form and submit it to the Charter Office in accordance with the dates below. Due Dates for Charter Amendment Requests

Arkansas Department of Education Rules Governing Public Charter Schools (4.02.3-4.02.4) establish the requirement of submitting amendment requests no later than 35 days prior to the authorizer meeting.  Requests seeking amendments to current charters will be heard at the authorizer meetings in February and October of each year. Below are the 2016 dates by which amendment requests must be received:

October 16-20, 2017 September 13. 2017. by 4:00 p.m.

  •  Wednesday-Thursday, August 16-17, 2017, 8:30 a.m.

  •  Wednesday-Friday, October 18-20, 2017, 8:30 a.m.
  •  Wednesday, November 15, 2017, 8:30 a.m.
  •  Wednesday-Thursday, December 20-21, 2017, 8:30 a.m.
