Teacher Impact Celebration

Teachers work tirelessly every day to create a challenging, nurturing environment where students can grow and reach their full potential.

Please join ADE in recognizing outstanding teachers in the public, private, and higher education fields by participating in the Teacher Impact Celebration. The project involves providing a simple thank you presentation to a teacher who has made a significant impact on students, families, and communities. To participate, follow the instructions below.

  1. 1. Select one or more teachers you would like to thank.
  2. 2. Print a copy of the 5x7 thank you note card (not folded) located on the Arkansas Department of Education website at http://bit.ly/1VmGzQR. Registration marks on the artwork serve as guides to help when trimming the printout to the 5x7 size. The note card may be framed for the teacher to display.
  3. 3. Write a personalized note on the card thanking the recipient.
  4. 4. Share how the teacher has impacted your life by filming a short video on your phone or taking a picture of your presentation to the teacher.
  5. 5. Post the video or picture on social media using the hashtag #ARTeacherImpact. If the video or picture is posted on other sites, please send a link to ade.communications@arkansas.gov for possible sharing.
  6. 6. Encourage others to recognize an outstanding educator.

A printable copy of the Teacher Impact Celebration instructions is available at http://bit.ly/1S8jRYz. Feel free to share.
