ADE Summit 2019

June 18-21, 2019

Hot Springs Convention Center

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is excited to introduce the ADE Summit.

The ADE Summit combines many smaller conferences from the past into one amazing opportunity, expanding the reach of those previous events. The Summit will give participants the opportunity to attend sessions they may have never considered before.  All educators can benefit from the wide range of topics that will be offered.

Conferences Included:

  • Arkansas Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference
  • Computer Science Educators Conference
  • Data & Reporting Conference
  • Dyslexia/Reading Conference
  • ESOL Conference
  • School Health Conference
  • School Improvement Conference
  • Special Education LEA Academy

What to Expect?

The ADE Summit will have a casual atmosphere designed to promote collaboration and discussion. For this reason, participants are encouraged to attend the conference in teams. The schedule has been set up to allow team members to each experience a variety of topics, with time dedicated at the end of each day to come back together and share. There will not be a scheduled lunch break; however, concessions will be available for purchase from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It is up to district discretion to provide professional development credit, as no certificates will be provided by ADE. The recommended dress code is business casual. Free parking is available behind the Convention Center.
